Giselle Alexander

BIOGRAPHY AND EDUCATION

Giselle obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa, where she developed an interest in family law. Prior to law school, Giselle received her Bachelor of Commerce degree from the Lang School of Business at the University of Guelph. She brings an in-depth understanding of personal finance from her prior work experience in property tax and finance. While in law school, Giselle’s team placed second in the Walsh Family Law Moot competition. The following year she won the BLG Negotiation competition and she was the assistant coach to the University of Ottawa’s Walsh Family Law Negotiation team who won the competition.

Giselle started at RPB Family Law as a summer student and continued her career at the firm as an associate once she completed her articles. She understands the importance of providing clear, practical advice to clients who are navigating a complex process. Giselle’s practice focuses on minimizing unnecessary conflict while working diligently to achieve client goals and proceeding to court where necessary.

When not in the office, you can find Giselle training at a local Muay Thai gym, engaging in passionate discussions with her book club, or browsing the flea market.
